Antoine Dupont returns to training ahead of the France-South Africa Rugby World Cup quarter-final.

France captain Antoine Dupont has been authorized to return to training ahead of his team’s quarter-final match against South Africa on Sunday.

Dupont has not played since breaking his cheekbone in the hosts’ 96-0 triumph over Namibia on September 21.

Following the injury, which was inflicted by a head-on tackle, the 26-year-old underwent surgery.

He will “resume training as early as today,” according to the French rugby federation.
